Water conditioning in cooling systems The cooling towers installations are systems, which require high heat exchange efficiency. However, keeping those objects fully operational and protected from failures requires relatively high financial expenditures for boiler scale protection agents. The boiler scale decreases the free heat transfer in approximately 3-4% for each 1 mm of deposit layer. The biological deposit in turn decreases the heat transfer in approximately 20% for each 1 mm of deposit layer.
